Managing Contacts
Manage your contact directory from the Contacts page.
Creating a contact
- Go to Contacts and click Create Contact
- Fill in the contact details: name, email, phone, and notes
- Save the contact
Editing a contact
- Click on a contact to view their profile
- Update any fields and save
Adding platform identities
Link a messaging platform to a contact:
- Open the contact profile
- Click Add Platform
- Select the platform type (WhatsApp, Instagram, Web)
- Enter the platform-specific identifier (phone number, username, etc.)
- Save
You can also link an existing platform identity that was auto-created from an inbound message to a different contact using Connect Platform.
Removing platform identities
- Open the contact profile
- Find the platform identity to remove
- Click Remove
This only unlinks the platform identity from the contact — it does not delete messages or conversations.
Deleting contacts
From the Contacts list, you can delete individual contacts or use bulk selection to delete multiple contacts at once.
Warning: Deleting a contact removes their profile but does not delete associated conversations.
