Creating a Broadcast

Send an approved WhatsApp template to a list of contacts.

Prerequisites

• A connected WhatsApp channel
• An approved Meta template (see WhatsApp Template Sync)
• Contacts with phone numbers

Creating a broadcast

1. Go to Broadcasts and click Create Broadcast
2. Enter a name for the broadcast
3. Select the WhatsApp channel to send from (if you have only one, it's selected automatically)
4. Choose an approved template
5. If the template has variables, fill in the variable values to bind
6. Select recipients — pick contacts from your directory. Contacts without a phone number are shown but can't be selected
7. Optionally set a schedule (date and time). Leave it empty to send right away
8. Save

Scheduling

If you set a schedule, the broadcast moves to Scheduled status and sends at the chosen time. You can cancel a scheduled broadcast before it starts sending.

Tracking results

Open a broadcast to see its progress: total recipients and per-status counts (sending, sent, delivered, read, failed). The recipients table lists each contact with its individual status. For any recipient that failed, you can retry delivery to that person.

Notes

• v1 supports selecting individual contacts. Tag- and segment-based audiences are planned for a later release.
• Only approved Meta templates can be broadcast — drafts and pending templates won't appear in the picker.
