Creating a Bot
Create an AI chatbot to automate responses on your channels.
Creating a chatbot
- Go to Chatbots and click Create Chatbot
- Enter a name for your bot
- Set the role name — this defines the bot's persona (e.g., "Customer Support Agent", "Sales Assistant")
- Save to create the bot
Configuring the bot
After creating, go to the chatbot's Details page to configure:
Settings tab
- Name — Display name of the bot
- Role Name — The persona or character the bot assumes
- Enabled/Disabled — Toggle the bot on or off
Prompts tab
Define the bot's behavior with custom prompts:
- System instructions that guide how the bot responds
- Tone, language, and response style preferences
- Rules for when to hand off to a human agent
Enabling and disabling
Toggle the Enabled switch to activate or deactivate the bot. A disabled bot will not respond to messages, even if assigned to a channel.
